·        Stationary and time dependent electron transport through quantum dot systems; Coulomb blockade, PAT, dynamical broken symmetry – theoretical studies;

·     Electron transport through one dimensional systems (quantum wires and perturbed quantum wires); conductance oscillations, quantum pumps – theoretical studies;

·       Quantum size effect and conductance of two-dimensional systems  – experimental and theoretical studies;

·     STM tunneling through zero and one dimensional objects on different surfaces – theoretical studies;

·       Decoherence in qubits, charge qubit detectors - theoretical studies;

Methods: 

·     Evolution operator technique,
 

·      Nonequilibrium Green's Function method,
 

·     Heisenberg equation of motion.
